Medical studies have suggested a link between oral infections and people diagnosed with acute cerebrovascular ischemia were found more likely to suffer with gum disease than the control group. The purpose of these postings are not to scare you, but to make you aware that gum disease can have serious consequences beyond oral health. The good news is that treating your gum disease has never been more patient-friendly. With the LANAP procedure, there's no surgical cutting or stitches. There's no long recovery time either.
